PAY IT FRWD

"Pay it FRWD" is our slogan designed to highlight the importance of service in our organization

Below are various service events that we have done!

BUILD

At least once a year, FRWD volunteers to help build, nonprofit, student run organization at Texas A&M that converts 40-foot shipping containers into fully-functional and portable Texas Aggie Medical Clinics. These containers are shipped all over the world to help those in need. FRWD volunteers by painting, installing cabinets and spreading the word. This is one of the first service events that we do and it is always a fun experience.

T-SHIRT SaLES

Once a semester FRWD sells "Wehner Dawgs" T-shirts to students and faculty on campus. The proceeds from these sales go directly to a non-profit of our choice and is a great way to give back to the community. Selling shirts is always so much fun and a great way to challenge your sales techniques. Last year we raised over $1000 in one day of sales alone!

Big event

Big Event is the biggest student-run service project at Texas A&M University and the nation. Seeing as service is not only one of FRWD's pillars but also one of the A&M Aggie Core Values, going to Big Event is incredibly important to FRWD. At Big Event, we stand side-by-side with other organizations on campus and participate in showing our appreciation to Bryan-College Station by completing various local service projects. It is a truly one-of-a-kind student run organization, and we are more than proud to be a part of it every year.

BOYS AND GIRLS COUNTRY

Our Philanthropy: Boys and Girls Country aims to change the lives of children from families in crisis by loving and nurturing them, raising them to become self-sustaining and contributing adults. Boys and Girls Country guides our kids through educational milestones, supports them emotionally as they navigate life’s challenges, holds them accountable to their peers and the greater community, and encourages them to dream big and achieve goals. FRWD supports Boys and Girls Country by donating funds, and volunteering on site with the children and around the grounds.
